September 7, 2002 –
Won the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Ten minutes after I accepted my award,
George Carlin accepted “comedian of the year” award from same podium-
a huge honor for me. Later that night I performed in a showcase taped for
HBO at the Wayne Newton Theater in the Stardust Resort. Here I am
with the lovely artist, Noemi at the awards ceremony...and accepting the
award from Saturday Night Live Alumni, Ellen Cleghorn. |

Thanks to Gijs for setting things up- I had a great time. Can't say enough good
things. Where else can one be so close to history like the Anne Frank
house, Rembrant's studio or Van Gogh's paintings then balance it all out with
some legal hootchies and hootch. I must go back. |
